Chester 1916! Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Five Stone Garnet Ring
This Antique ring is set with five graduated oval garnets displaying deep raspberry and wine-red tones. The stones are mounted in a classic elongated boat-shaped gallery with attractive pierced detailing to the sides, a characteristic design seen in late Victorian and Edwardian jewellery.
The garnets glow beautifully in the light with lovely depth of colour, perfectly complemented by the warm tone of the gold. The ring has a substantial presence on the finger while remaining comfortable and easy to wear daily.
The inside band carries a clear Chester hallmark for 1916 alongside the 9ct gold mark and Makers Mark P&S for Pendleton & Sons of Northampton Street, Birmingham. Chester hallmarked jewellery is highly sought after today due to the assay office closing in 1962, making these pieces increasingly collectable.
It weighs 3.3 grams and is currently a Size P.Specifications
