Chester 1899! Antique Victorian 15ct Gold Ruby & Seed Pearl Ring
This charming period piece features a rich ruby centre stone in a star setting, surrounded by delicate natural seed pearls in an ornate engraved gallery. The warm buttery tone of the 15ct Gold and intricate hand-finished detailing give the ring wonderful antique character and craftsmanship.
The ring is hallmarked for Chester, one of England’s most sought-after historic Assay Offices. It features the Makers Mark E.J.H which closely resembles the registered mark of Edward John Hardman of Bull Street, Birmingham, recorded in the Chester registers from April 1880.
It weighs 2.1 grams, is currently a Finger Size O and can’t be sized due to the placement of its hallmark.
This is a lovely authentic Victorian ring, ideal for collectors, antique jewellery lovers, or as a unique alternative engagement or sentimental gift ring.
