Antique 18ct Yellow Gold Sapphire & Diamond Five-Stone Boat Ring

There is something particularly special about antique boat rings, and this 18ct Yellow Gold Sapphire and Diamond example is full of the intricate detail and individuality that make these pieces so desirable.

The elongated, boat-shaped setting holds three graduated blue sapphires, with the largest positioned at the centre and a smaller sapphire at either end. Nestled between them are two diamonds, creating a traditional five-stone arrangement. The contrast between the deep blue sapphires, bright diamonds and warm Yellow Gold is particularly striking, with each gemstone complementing the next.

What makes this ring especially charming is the beautifully worked gold surrounding the stones. The raised setting features a series of decorative pierced arches along its upper and lower edges, giving the ring an almost architectural quality.
